Positive: I stayed here from 15-18 february and I am very pleased. The room is very nice and the studio has a great location right by the Beach. There are also some good restaurants with just a 2-3 minute walk from the studio!

Positive: Location. Studio was perfectly comfortable Kept beautifully clean Owner and staff so helpful and kind especially when i lost my key. Plenty of water and supplies. Beach bag and towels provided Nothing to fault at

Negative: No patio to sit outside to enjoy view and morning cuppa. Noise in area is I realise now expectedly loud from very early to late with opening of shops, arrival of tourists and buses all day, children playing on the driveway outside in the evening screaming and playing. Its not awful, was just a factor i was unaware of before booking. Whilst the studio is beautiful, the lack of adjoining outdoor sitting area or patio was something I missed particularly for my morning cuppa ( note, there are plenty of beautiful public spaces to walk within very close distance, take a cup of tea and sit and enjoy the view), and as I was looking for some periods of quiet and rest the noise was a little much, all day long. Perhaps i should have realised although I wasnt 100% sure of the actual studio location till i arrived. I had thought it was situated further out on a rock, with more of a sea view and away from shops and tourists. So this is not a complaint in any way just a "good to know" information. I knew the studio of course had no pool and i thought that woukd be fine as there is a lovely small beach and swimming area just steps away, however with weather not always optimal,swimming there was perhaps not ideal. So I did feel the lack of having access to a pool facility. I asked at nearby resort as some resorts will allow you to pay a daily fee to make use of pool and pool area however they said no. It might be nice if the studio owner could make an arrangement with a nearby resort for guests of grand rock studio to access their pool area as the ocean was not always optimal for swimming. Its not that I wouldnt book again, it really was lovely but for me next time i will be seeking something in a quiter location, outdoor seating area and pool access. Again , not a complaint, just feedback of my experience and info that might be good to know for someone else.
